Here on the Golden Road tonight, we are getting down with music from the greatest Grateful Dead concert ever (so sorry Cornell)! We are, of course, referring to Harpur College from May 2nd, 1970. But first we have to say goodbye to Col. Bruce Hampton (Ret.), who checked out last week, after performing at his 70th Birthday Celebration Concert. Col. Bruce was a one of a kind musician and individual, and he was a huge influence (some say Grandfather) on what we call today the “Jamband Scene.” We will hear music from his very fine band, the Aquarium Rescue Unit.
