During this live broadcast of the Golden Road on February 7th, we welcomed musician, composer, producer, artist and visionary, Bob Bralove of San Francisco. Bob achieved considerable acclaim through his supremely creative work with the Grateful Dead during the late-1980's and early-1990's by essentially integrating modern sound alternatives (such as MIDI) into the live and studio mix of the band. During the interview, Bob richly spoke of his approach to creating his very colorful visual art pieces and also regaled the K-Dirt listeners with details of his work with the Grateful Dead and a few choice stories of being in the studio and on the road with the band.
Bob is also an accomplished artist and will be having an open house on Sunday, February 10th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Davis Cemetery Gallery 1855 on Pole Line Road to kick off an exhibit of his mind-expanding artwork. The exhibit will run at the gallery through February 28th.
Enjoy!
