In this edition of The Golden Road, the journey takes us all the way from Ann Arbor to Eugene with a nod to the classic sounds of Commander Cody and The Lost Planet Airmen...and, of course, some good ol' Grateful Dead from August 27, 1972 in a legendary benefit show for the Springfield Creamery in Veneta, Oregon.
In addition to SOU LAX 2011, this show is dedicated to the guys who used to hang a bedsheet with the words "Ozone Rangers" spray painted on it up on the balcony of Winterland at Dead show's "back in the day". Hope you are still drifiting through the zone every now & then these days!
