This event is for Davis residents only, ID will be checked. Only one vehicle per household, return trips are not allowed. Compost and mulch is available on a first-come first-served basis. Please note that vehicles are not permitted to back up directly to the compost or mulch piles for loading. Residents are required to shuttle the compost and mulch from the piles to their vehicle. Residents must bring their own equipment (shovels, gunny sacks, wheel barrows, etc.) as none will be provided. The compost for the event is donated by Napa Recycling - the same compost facility that processes all the organic material from Davis. Davis’s Urban Forestry Division is providing the wood chips.
