Hello There K-Dirt listeners!
This edition of The Golden Road features the introduction of Lee "The Pride of Pittsburgh" Maddex as the new co-host of the show. In this tripped out broadcast you will hear how Lee and I whetted our appetite for experiencing the Grateful Dead live in concert...and hear sounds recorded live at our respective "first shows"...Lee's being September 25, 1976 at the Cap Center in Landover, Maryland and mine being October 9, 1976 at Oakland Stadium (a Day on the Green event with The Who produced by the legendary promoter, Bill Graham).
Also included is the fun little Christmas song parody, "Oh Come All Ye Deadheads" and and excellent version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman.
