The non-profit Woodland Chamber Singers community chorus is presenting a
Pancake Breakfast at the Yolo Masonic Lodge #195 at 1655 Da Vinci Ct., Davis,
on Sat., Nov. 2 from 9 to 11 am to benefit their Carnegie Hall fund. The
group has been invited to perform at the New York Choral Festival in Carnegie
Hall in March 2014, which will involve a 4-day trip to New York City. The
choir members have been holding a variety of fundraisers over the past year
to lower the cost of the trip.
The Masons are generously donating the hall, food and labor for this event,
and the public is invited to come and enjoy delicious pancakes that well help
send the choir to Carnegie Hall!
Tickets are $5 in advance $7 at the door and are available at Watermelon
Music in Davis (207 E St., 530-758-4010) and Woodland (Woodland: 527 Main
