Singer-Songwriter Karen Drucker is bringing her “Lighten Up” show to Davis Nov. 2. Created to entertain a variety of audiences, the show combines her inspirational up-tempo songs, comedy songs, routines and chants. Audience participation, fun and lightness are the themes of this unique performance.
Hosted by Unity Center of Davis, the concert will be at the Veterans Memorial Center, 203 East 14th Street on Friday, November 2, 2012. The concert is at 8:00 pm and is preceded by a catered reception at 7:00 pm provided by Plates Café and Catering of Sacramento, a non-profit employment learning program for formerly homeless mothers with children. The women are trained and supervised by culinary professionals.
Tickets are $15 for the concert-only and $35 for the concert plus reception.
