Shakespeare’s Globe reinvents Elizabethan touring theatre for the 21st century. Using stage design inspired by images from the time, the Globe’s players recreate all the fun and excitement of early theatre, with Jackson Hall ideally configured to catch the nuances of one of the Bard’s great dramas. Featuring some of Shakespeare’s best known speeches, this pared-down production of Hamlet brilliantly captures the corrupting influence of power, the intensity of young love and the passion of a wronged man.

Just Added events augment the Mondavi Center’s 2012-13 season of performances featuring the finest in music, dance, speakers and film.

Subscriptions for the 10th anniversary season are on sale now at 866-754-2787 and at mondaviarts.org. Single tickets for all other 2012-13 performances will go on sale August 10, 2012. Full schedule and images available for download at: http://www.mondaviarts.org/pressroom.
