Noted Psychologist and Author, Elisha Goldstein, PhD, will offer a workshop on “Conscious Healing in Everyday Life: The Power of Mindfulness” hosted by the Unity Center of Davis on Sunday October 7 from 1-2:30 pm at the Davis Veteran’s Memorial Center at 14th and “B” Streets.
Drawing on cutting edge psychology, neuroscience and mindfulness practices, Dr. Goldstein will
identify the importance of the “Now Effect”, the title of his latest book and that moment of mindfulness and clarity that occurs when we pause and step into the spaces of awareness all around us. The workshop’s focus is to teach participants how to break free from debilitating beliefs and thoughts, approach difficulties and barriers with grace and ease, alleviate stress and pain, cultivate emotional
freedom, improve focus at home and at work, communicate more effectively, and have more empathy toward ourselves and others.
Author of several books focusing on mindfulness practice, Dr. Goldstein is also a practicing psychologist, columnist, and lecturer. The suggested donation is $20 per person. For more information view Unity Center of Davis at www.unityofdavis.org or call 530-758-2424.
