OPEN HOUSE ON TRANSPORTATION NEEDS

YOU’RE INVITED!
CITY HOLDS COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE ON
TRANSPORTATION NEEDS ON JUNE 6TH

City of Davis transportation planning staff and an advisory group invite the community to
come and provide input on transportation needs in an open house format on Wednesday,
June 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the Davis Senior Citizens Center, 646 “A” Street in
the Multi-Purpose Room East. Attendees may come and go anytime during the open
house and stay for as long as they like, but participation may require approximately 20-30
minutes. Staff and advisory group members will be available to provide information,
answer questions, and assist as needed.

Community input on transportation needs and priorities will assist in the preparation of
an update to the General Plan Transportation Element and a new Transportation
Implementation Plan (TIP). The TIP will evaluate and prioritize transportation projects
throughout the City.

Staff and the transportation advisory group (TAG) need your help in answering the
following questions:
• What transportation goals should be set?
• How should transportation projects be prioritized?
• What transportation needs should be addressed?

The city of Davis welcomes anyone with an interest in shaping the future of
transportation in Davis to participate.

In addition, an on-line survey will be available on the city’s web site on June 7th and
through the month of June, to provide another opportunity for input.

For more information on the open house or survey, please contact Bob Wolcott
(bwolcott@cityofdavis.org) or Brian Abbanat (babbanat@cityofdavis.org) at 530/757-
