LIVESTRONG Challenge series Comes to Davis

The 2013 Team LIVESTRONG Challenge series gets underway on June

23 in Davis, Calif., before making its way to Philadelphia (Aug. 17‐18) and Austin, Texas (Oct. 20). The

annual Team LIVESTRONG Challenge bike ride, which begins and ends in Davis’ Central Park, features

multi‐distance options for participants to ride 25, 45, 65 or 100 miles to include cyclists of all fitness

levels.

While in Davis for the third consecutive year, the Foundation will be increasing its contribution to the

surrounding community through a new initiative in partnership with the Sacramento Region

Community Foundation. Five percent of the funds raised for the Challenge will be distributed by the

Community Foundation to cancer‐related organizations in the area.
