The Breedless Kitsch

The Davis High School Drama Department spring show, The Breedless Kitsch, is an original production written by Davis High and UC Davis graduate, Ben Moroski, regarding issues of racism in a small town similar to Davis. The show focuses around an incident of a noose being hung from the football goalpost. Some speculate the hate crime centers on the fact that the new quarterback is African American. The goal of this production is to raise awareness in the Davis community of the presence of hate crimes inspired by race, particularly at a high school, in a small town just like ours.
