Gerry O’Beirne returns to Auburn House Concerts! A renowned singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (6 & 12 string guitar, and ukulele) Gerry’s own compositions blend the passion found in traditional music with the freshness of contemporary song.

His new CD, “Yesterday I Saw The Earth Beautiful” with Rosie Shipley is their long-awaited duo album featuring Gerry’s instrumental compositions and songs interwoven with Rosie’s traditional fiddle music from Ireland, Cape Breton, and Appalachia.

“Everything he touches resounds to us with an echo of truth and beauty and perfection.” —Ranelagh Arts Festival 2010

“He plays guitar like an elephant roller skating through neon grass.” —composer Harry Williamson

"Gerry O'Beirne has written some of the best new tunes to come out of Ireland's Celtic music scene. O'Beirne's guitar playing is always a thing of wonder and his lyrics have become increasingly poetic and emotionally deep." —Dirty Linen about 'Half Moon Bay'
