DAVIS FILM FESTIVAL BECOMES COMPETITIVE IN 2012
The 9th Annual Davis Film Festival takes place Friday and Saturday,
April 6 and 7, at the Veteran's Memorial Theatre, 203 E. 14th Street
in Davis. Eleven hours of films from around the world and our own
backyard (with no entry fee for Yolo County filmmakers!). Twenty-one
filmmakers will compete for three top prizes in our first ever
competitive festival. Juried categories are Best Feature and Best
Short. The third top prize is the Audience Award.

be sold at the door. Admission price is only $7.00 this year, a
special discount to thank the community of Davis, as well as
filmmakers and audience members who have come from near and far to
support the Davis Film Festival for almost ten years now.
