“Cuban Dreamscapes: The Art of Eduardo Guerra”

On Thursday, April 19th from 7–10 pm, The Wardrobe in Davis, Ca is proud
to present "Cuban Dreamscapes," a premier west coast international art
exhibition featuring the work of world renowned print maker Eduardo
Guerra.
Guerra works in the long and rich tradition of superior Cuban printmakers,
and is regarded as a master in "colorgrafica," a hybrid printmaking and
etching technique. Known for his highly expressive and imaginative works of
art, Guerra creates his originals on banana leaves and uses different colors for
every print in a series of 50, making each a unique creation.
The Wardrobe will begin with an artist’s reception from 7-8 pm. A special
Q&A with the artist (via translator) will take place from 8- 8:15 pm. The rest
of the evening will be spent appreciating the art, The Sound of Fashion music,
and the culture of Cuba .

In addition, Guerra’s work will be on display with select pieces for sale.
Admission to the evening is free.
"After seeing Eduardo’s stunning work on my recent trip to Cuba, I
immediately purchased a piece for my own collection and invited him to
show his work in Davis" says Heather Caswell, who will host the event at The
Wardrobe. “His art is superbly evocative, and fits in well with the rich artistic
community here in Davis.” Caswell recently released a sound slide video
entitled “Make Something Good Meets the Sound of Fashion” profiling her
fashion expedition to The Havana Jazz Festival in Cuba where she discovered
the artist’s work. You can view the artist’s work through the following video
