“Cuban Dreamscapes: The Art of Eduardo Guerra”

On Thursday, April 19th from 7–10 pm, The Wardrobe in Davis, Ca is proud to present "Cuban
Dreamscapes," a premier west coast international art exhibition featuring the work of world
renowned print maker Eduardo Guerra.

Guerra works in the long and rich tradition of superior Cuban print makers, and is regarded as
a master in "colorgrafica," a hybrid printmaking and etching technique. Known for his highly
expressive and imaginative works of art, Guerra creates his originals on banana leaves and uses
different colors for every print in a series of 50, making each a unique creation.

“Bringing this visionary artist to Davis allows me to share my enthusiasm for his work, and
to offer people a glimpse into the immense cultural explosion that is poised to take place in
Cuba,” Ms. Caswell explains. “Amidst all the changes in our human society, Cuba has caught
the attention of the eyes and ears of the world. What happens there over the next 10 years
is going to be remarkable. Eduardo’s work is a suggestion of what the world will soon know
about Cuban talent.”

Caswell recently released a sound slide video entitled “Make Something Good Meets
the Sound of Fashion” profiling her fashion expedition to The Havana Jazz Festival in
Cuba where she discovered the artist’s work. You can view the story at by clicking on
