Mariachi Puente of Davis is a DJUSD districtwide after-school mariachi group featuring junior high and high school students. Directed by Hiram and Ximena Jackson, the group performs mostly traditional Mexican mariachi and Spanish language songs to promote appreciation of Mexican and Latin American culture, and to develop students' musical and performance abilities.
