Honoring the legacy of César Chávez through community service. Entertainment provided by local groups including a special opening Aztec dance performed by Tlayolo. “Las Flamenquitas” 2nd grade students from Sra. Dopico’s class at César Chávez Elementary and Folklorico Latino De Woodland will also be performing. Jesse Ortiz, Yolo County Superintendent of Schools is the key note presenter and will speak to the theme of service in the community. The local band Zapato Viejo will close out the event.
