SF Mime Troupe
One week down, many many more to go! This show features a retelling of a radio-themed dream Rocket had, a review of Sinister 2, and 3 minutes of Donald Trump saying "China". This show also includes a series of moral dillemmas (dillemma creds to Jamie): if there were three people, identical to yourself in all relevant repects/capacities (age, intelligence, family relationships, emotional quota etc.) except that each needed a vital organ (heart, liver, kidneys) 1) Should you kill yourself to save the lives, 2) If someone else was in the same situation and you were observing, should they save the three people (would the benefits outweigh the harms), 3) Would your answer change depending on your relationships with the three people, and 4) how many people's lives would have to be at stake for you to sacrafice yourself in a real-world situation? In other news the SF Mime Troupe just came to Davis to perform Freedomland, the theatre's show for the year. The SF Mime Troupe, founded in 1959, travels to local parks and performs socially relevant theatre for free! This show includes a live clip from the show as well as "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day.
