KDRT is open again so Ruth is reading "Curanderos" by Arnold A. Rojas, and part of "Scavengers" by Mary Austin. Both these selections are from "California Heartland" by Editors Gerald W. Haslam and James D. Houston. Because "Curanderos" had a humorous side Ruth included the Stan Freberg "St. George and the Dragonet." Happy New Year and remember to laugh!
