I am a Junior at Davis Senior High and serve as the Chair of the Yolo Youth Commission, a Commissioner on the Yolo County Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Commission, and the founder of the Youth Climate Action Board. I created NextGen Talks as a way to provide accessible information about local politics in a format that resonates with younger audiences, helping to create a well-informed generation ready to take on leadership roles. As an active member of the community, I am closely connected to the challenges and issues that young people in Davis and Yolo County face, from mental health and housing to civic engagement and education. In the future I hope to work in public policy, particularly in areas like food security and education.
