Listening Lyrics Nov 14h, 2014 with Ryan McBride

ryan mcbride, kdrt, listening lyrics, pieter pastoor, pastoor I heard this young man two years ago and finally he is available to appear on LISTENING LYRICS. KDRT is thrilled that Ryan will spend an hour in the studio. Ryan McBride is a Davis-native guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His mellow acoustic style takes influence from greats such as Tom Petty and Bob Dylan, alongside many other contemporary folk writers such as Jack Johnson and The Tallest Man On Earth. His musical repertoire includes a collection of covers and originals. He is currently in Davis to finish up classes but will send in his credits to receive his degree Bachelors in Biology this fall from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

BED, live in the Loam, KDRT, pieter pastoorTime to get into BED - get ready for an interview with some very creative, talented and driven musicians. In late 2013, Alex and Sierra Haager quit their jobs and escaped their lives in San Francisco and headed north to start Breakup Records. Although they spend nearly every waking hour working with some of their favorite bands, they still found time to create a new project for themselves.

Live in the LOAM presents DIRK HAMILTON Wed. Nov 5, 2014 at 1:00PM

Dirk hamilton, Live in the Loam, KDRT, pieter pastoor, pastoorKDRT is thrilled to have Dirk Hamilton share his talent and stories with us. This show will also be televised at a later date. Dirk Hamilton is such a prototypical singer-songwriter-guitar player, someone ought to make a movie about him — and in fact Dirk does appear front and center in the upcoming documentary Folk, which examines how three artists at dramatically different stages of their career work to reach an audience. Dirk is well cast as the seasoned vet. He’s just released his 17th album, solo mono, which recordnet.com describes as "raw and real," "inventive," and "delicately nuanced," with "a bluesy, contemplative feel." He’s bringing his guitar and harmonica to the Freight to play songs from the new album and from his thirty-five years in the music business.
