Listening Lyrics Oct 24th, 2014 with Lisa Cantrell

Listening lyrics, Lisa Cantrell, kdrt, pieter pastoor,The first time I heard her perform--actually the first few moments I heard her--I knew I wanted her on the show. That was a few months ago, now we all get to hear her perform live in the studio and get to know Lisa. Lisa was born and raised in South Carolina and lived a short time in Indiana.  She was classically trained on the piano and started writing songs at age 11.  When she is not playing music, she can be found conducting experiments on infants in the UD Davis Center for Mind and Brain or working on her psychology-story-telling podcast, An InExact Science.

Listening Lyrics Oct 10th, 2014 with the HEY-NOWS!

Listening Lyrics Sep 19th, 2014 with CASEY GROAT

Sometimes young talent needs a little polishing, but in the case of singer/songwriter CASEY GROAT he comes to us with a shine that begs to be heard. Casey enjoys a natural stage presence along with the tunes that he crafts. Picking away at his guitar shows us that young talent is worth more then a listen but worth our attention.

With Casey was his friend/DJ Zach

Listen now for an hour with Casey.

Pieter!!! I was listening to few of your shows today.
First- this is high quality stuff!!!! I was blown away!!! great music, great interviews, great ideas for the show. I'm a fan!!!!
Secondly- You two have great communication there.
Third- for me, it is just brilliant to be able to listen to you two. Your voice sounds so familiar. It feels like sitting with you in the same room. You sound so calm and I just LOVE it.

Mesmerizing show Pieter. Gave me that moment of pause and allowed me to begin wrapping my arms around music and lyrics which will let calm settle in. An excellent compilation of wonderful words and sounds. Thanks.

Love the new dimension and the seamless, feed-each-other, dimension it gives the program's back and forth banter. Great music selection and accompanying background info this week!

So good, so listenable, so smooth, and exactly my favorite style in music. Thanks Pieter and Alex.

What can I say; I LOVED THIS SHOW!

Additionally, I'll let you in on a secret, this was the first time that I listened to, not one, but two complete Rap songs -- and enjoyed them. :)

Loved the show and thoroughly enjoyed Cory. Tell him what Michael J Fox once said; "I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business."  He was excellent.

the October 3rd show was way too short. What a mellow and superbly classy hour that just blew by. Thanks!
