Lois Richter

Lois Richter is an active member of the community in Davis, California. In 1980, Lois started her first company, "The Organizer", to help people keep the papers from taking over their lives. Author and presenter Patty Wooten was one of Lois' first clients and remains a good friend. Lois has done website design since the web got started, has taught for many years (thru Davis Adult School, Davis Senior Center, and City of Davis) and continues to tutor private clients.

In addition to her teaching schedule and web design clients, Lois keeps a home with her husband (Jim Drummond), is a docent for the UCDavis Arboretum, has become active in art (particularly ATCs and artisttamps), and helps her Mom (who just turn 97!). For fun she watches birds, takes photos, pets kittens, plays games, sketches, makes art on the computer, and works on family history projects.

Some of her creations are online at http://flickr.com/loisrichter/

Nursery professional Don Shor has been selling plants in Davis for 33 years and gardening in the region for four decades. Garden enthusiast Lois Richter joins Don as co-host. Plant questions welcome!

Sometimes interviews with local folks. It might be about work, or life choices, or philosophy, or history. Sometimes birding, or art, or other passions. Or about local activities, groups, or events.  It's rarely about politics, and it never includes shouting! When there's no guest, it's laid-back music.  Oldies or Hawaiian or Mom's 1940s songs--whatever feels right that day.

If you have a suggestion for a guest or topic, feel free to phone me at 758-5058 (8am-8pm).
