“We definitely used the Pilgrim Jubilees as a blueprint for how the traditional gospel quartet sound should be,” explains James regarding their latest album. “We got a chance to see those guys (Jubilees) in 1977, and long story short, they blew us away."

This album is produced by the Little Village Foundation - a non-profit cultural producer and record label that searches out, discovers, records and produces music that otherwise might not be heard beyond the artist’s family and community. This episode airs live on Thursday, July 30, 5-7 p.m. on KDRT 95.7 FM, or stream it at kdrt.org.
