Reverend Michelle Haunold, aka DJ Mikki Riff and president of Gearhead Records joins Dug Deep for a special edition of the Electric Compost Heap honoring Gearhead Records' history and music, live in the KDRT studio Wednesday, September 26th, at 7:00 p.m. Gearhead records began releasing punk rock records in 2000, and their catalog includes releases by the Hives, the New Bomb Turks, the Riverboat Gamblers, and many more. This year’s Gearfest Event – a fundraiser for the SPCA featuring the Woolly Bandits, Control Freaks, Infamous Swanks, and others – takes place Saturday, September 29th, at the Blue Lamp in Sacramento starting at 12 noon.
