The Golden Road takes a spin through NYC and stops at the legendary Madison Square Garden to experience the infamous 2nd Set from 9/18/87. One of the best sets from 1987 with Jerry at his finest...particularly during a molten rendition of "Morning Dew"...not to be missed! We also dig into the 5 cd box set, "So Many Roads" for some rare studio rehearsal material to cool things out a tad.
Here's a look at the Good Lovin'/La Bamba/Good Lovin' sandwich played on 9/18/87:

Another feature of this broadcast are some excellent tunes from a new release by Scott Cooper of Santa Cruz...the cd is called "A Leg Trick" and is primo! Great batch of recordings that encompass the rolling sounds of New Orleans and even some fine classic Bay Area-style music that is totally refreshing to hear these-a-days.
