A Tribute to The Iconic Sounds of Southern California and the Laurel Canyon Scene

This episode of Silver Nine Volt Heart  is a special sonic journey featuring the songs of some the finest artists whose combined efforts became known as the Southern California  sound.  From The Doors, The Byrds,  Beach Boys, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, The Eagles,  Dave Alvin, to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and more, the Los Angeles area and its unique canyon hideaways has been a hotspot for that special SoCal sound.  This show is dedicated to all those in SoCal affected by the ongoing wildfires, with the hope that these songs will help lift the spirits of all.

Greetings and Salutations Rodriguez,

Thanks for playing The Grateful Dead. As a dead person myself, I could really relate to the sentiment of Playing In The Band. In the end, each of us has a particular note to play in the web of life. Your repeated dedication to The Dead and bygones long ago, keep you qualified to remain amongst the living as a true Champion! May Your Bones Rest Easy In The KDRT!

Gratefully,

The Alchemist
