The Davis Human Relations Commission invites everyone to this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration at the Varsity Theatre on Second Street.
The Keynote Speaker will be Sujatha Baliga of the National Council on Crime and Delinquency who will focus on restorative and criminal justice, particularly as relates to youth of color. There will be music, a drama presentation and thought-provoking panel.
As is tradition, the event will conclude with a ceremonial freedom march through beautiful downtown Davis.
