Happy Birthday, Phish!

Today, our boys from Vermont enter their 30th year of play ... so we are celebrating in style (how else would we celebrate?) with Phishmaster Phil Schutt! Tonight's show starts with about 15 minutes of Phish covering Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain during the second set of their first show ever, played on Dec. 2, 1983 in a school cafeteria. From the sound of it, this set was recorded on someone's sister's handheld cassette tape player ... After that bit of history, we slide right into a wicked Mike's>Hydrogen>Weekapaug from Isla Vista, Calif., on April 16, 1992. And then it's time to drop into the second set from the Bomb Factory show in Dallas, on May 7, 1994. Be ready, it's a sheer sea of sound set ... a great listen. Enjoy the show!
