Davis Live Music Collective Presents Typhoon, Laura Gibson and Lost Lander

The Davis Live Music Collective (DLMC) is hosting three of Portland, Oregon’s finest independent artists. Typhoon, a 13+ piece indie-rock orchestra who have been named one of Portland’s Best New Bands by the Willamette Weekly, will bring their Basin & Range Tour to the G Street Wunderbar in Downtown Davis. Co-headliner Laura Gibson will share the stage in support of her new Barsuk Records’ release, la grande. Filling out the bill are openers Lost Lander, headed up by Matt Sheehy whose Brent Knopf (Menomena) produced album DRRT was released earlier this year.

The Basin & Range Tour will include dates in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall and Portland’s Crystal Ballroom, with stops throughout the west – including The G Street Wunderbar in Davis.

Presale tickets for the event are $10 and are available at Armadillo Music, 205 F Street in downtown Davis, or by visiting www.davislivemusic.com .

The G Street Wunderbar is located at 228 G Street Davis, CA 95616. The show starts at 9 PM as is 21 and over.

The Davis Live Music Collective is a grassroots, all volunteer organization of like-minded music fans that has been bringing exceptional live music to Davis since early 2012. Members commit to a preset number of tickets prior to a date, artist or venue being announced and assist with all functions related to making each evening a success. Past shows the DLMC has presented or supported include Jolie Holland, Sea of Bees, Ben Sollee, Elephant Revival, Dave Alvin, Kelly Hogan, Jon Langford and the Second Annual Davis Music Festival.
