What lives in Putah Creek? How soft is an otter’s fur? What do a beaver’s teeth look like up close? Where do kingfishers build their nests? Does the smell of wild licorice tickle your nose? Visit the Pop-Up Nature Center at the South Fork Preserve to learn about the fascinating plant and animal life found at Putah Creek. Volunteer Docents answer questions, introduce you to artifacts, and help uncover surprising secrets as you explore the creek. Continue the adventure by walking the creekside trails at the Preserve.
