The new antenna’s up, and we want to hear from you!

This fall season, as KDRT-LP 95.7FM celebrates it’s 13th broadcast birthday, we anticipate making the most of our new antenna. We are busy launching a new local public affairs department, training new volunteers, supporting local musicians, and growing our grass roots however we can. We ask the community to help support these efforts by helping us raise $5000 by October 29th. To donate please visit kdrt.org/donate—and click the read more below for info on all of our Fall FUNdraiser events...

Come celebrate with us!

Sunday, October 22, 12-4pm

Before we even get started on our fundraiser, we are 100% in to help our Northern California neighbors. KDRT is broadcasting the Davis Fire Relief Benefit: Helping our North Coast Neighbors event live on 95.7 FM .  Tune in to hear Smoke Shovelers, Sometimes Warren with Keith Cary, Byron Colborn Trio, and the West Nile Ramblers. Please donate to Redwood Credit Union Community Fund for North Bay Fire Relief. KDRT hopes to amplify the relief effort however we can!

Wednesday, October 25, 4-8pm

It doesn't get much better than drinking tasty local craft beers on a Wednesday evening at the Sudwerk Brewing Co. Dock Store! On top of that, there'll be live DJing with Mr. Glass and DJ Trop'a, plus live broadcasts of KDRT programs Rap Snacks and The Electric Compost Heap. On top of THAT, a portion of all proceeds from beer sales from this day will be donated to KDRT 95.7FM!

Friday, October 27, 5-10pm

For this special Woodstocks Friday Night Alive! on October 27th, we'll be celebrating KDRT 95.7FM and raising funds for our station. There'll be LIVE MUSIC from The Polyorchids (acoustic) and The Big Poppies starting at 8 pm, followed by Woody's traditional Friday-night jam at 10 pm. A portion of proceeds from food and beer sales that night will go to support KDRT ~ just mention us at the register when you order!

Saturday, October 28, 12-5pm

We love local music, we love supporting the arts! Tune in to hear special broadcast from touring and local musicians alike.  Our own Pieter Pastoor of Listening Lyrics has lined up a cornucopia of audio delights. Feel free to stop by and witness the chaos:  Boca do Rio, Fong Tran, The Big Poppies, Philharmonik, DonGato (6 piece Latin band!).

Sunday, October 29, 3-6pm

We all love hanging out at Berryessa Brewing co on a Sunday afternoon ~ especially when there's LIVE MUSIC courtesy of our friends The Nickel Slots! A portion of all proceeds from beer sales from this day will be donated to KDRT 95.7FM!

Survey Says:

Take the survey

Last November, we asked the community to help us purchase a new antenna.  Now with the new antenna is up, it's time to turn us on, and let us know how we’re sounding!  Can you hear us clearly? What can we do to improve the station for you?  Please take our survey!

See the shiny new digs

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and video even more! To showcase our antenna installation, volunteer Bryce Parker put together this video. Enjoy!

Eat and drink for your station!

KDRT has always been a hyper-local, grassroots effort. We are a team ~ your neighbors ~ all depending on generous listener support. You can support in ways other than direct donations by eating/drinking at all of these fine locations during the week:

October 23: Thai Canteen

October 24: Teabo

October 25: Sudwerks

October 26:  YoloBerry

October 27: Woodstocks!

October 29:  Berryessa Brewing!

Just grab the KDRT FUNdraiser flyer attached to bottom of this post, pick up a copy of the flyer at the station, or put the flyer your phone. When you place your order, be sure to mention KDRT and show the flyer.

Let’s do this!

Please tune in to KDRT 95.7FM throughout the week, visit some of our business sponsors, and come celebrate with us at an event to help us reach our goal! Early donations are welcome! Thank you gifts are available, including a very special “Turn Us On” graphic t-shirt designed by our own Eunah Cho! Go to kdrt.org to donate and see the gifts.
