The great Billy Strayhorn composed many jazz classics during his partnership with Duke Ellington. This show features mostly Strayhorn’s compositions, performed by Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Count Basie with Ella Fitzgerald, Earl Hines, and Terell Stafford, in addition to performances by Ellington, Johnny Hodges, and Strayhorn himself.
