The Squad Meets Stevie Wonder

This past weekend, highschoolers involved in leadership for Acme Theatre Company met and discussed the past and future of the company and Acme in general. Rocket talks about this experience and the upcoming summer show, The Madwoman of Chaillot (all highschoolers past 8th grade should consider getting involved!!!). Rocket also talked about some scary movies. Final Destination 5 is the most recent installment in the final destination series. The common thread between all the movies is that a group of people avoid a fatal catastrophe and then begin to die off in bizarre ways. Oculus follows the story of a brother and sister who's family was torn apart when they were young because of this creepy ornate mirror that can mess with people's heads. The siblings grow up and find the mirror and stuff goes down. Rocket reads the short story The Highway from The Invisible Man by Ray Bradbury. Rocket talks about the memorial service for Carson May last weekend where he met Stevie Wonder. The show starts with Freedom by Beyonce from Lemonde, the new visual album, Aggressive by Beartooth from their album Aggressive expected on June 3, and Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, dedicated to Carson.
