Interview with Swami Paramanandji

During a brief visit and lecture series in Davis, the honored Mahamandaleshwar Yugpurush Swami Paramanand Ji Maharaj appeared on “Speakeasy, a local radio talk show on KDRT-LP 95.7 FM.

Hosted by Autumn Labbé-Renault, "Speakeasy" features "creative conversations for challenging times," and connects the local to the global through the power of low-power community radio.

Recognized and honored in India as an Enlightened Holy Man, Swami Paramanandji teaches that we are all part of One Supreme Soul that permeates the Universe. In India, he has millions of followers and is routinely called upon to provide advice to heads of State. Dozens of schools, hospitals and ashrams have been established in his name and by virtue of his good works in India.

He first came to the United States when he was invited to the United Nations to speak at the Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual leaders in August of 2000. Swami Paramanandji has lectured and led retreats in the United States for the past nine years, and has been in Davis this week, hosted by some of his students.
